Care beyond the everyday.
Care is at the heart of OURI. We believe it also has a place beyond our daily rituals.
We pledge 1% of OURI’s annual net profits to the Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED), supporting girls’ education and young women’s leadership in Africa.
Why CAMFED?
Education can open up choices that last a lifetime.
CAMFED supports girls in rural African communities to go to school and helps young women move into further education, employment and leadership.
We have chosen to support this work through an ongoing annual giving commitment.
Our Commitment
Each year, we will donate 1% of OURI’s net profits across all sales channels to CAMFED.
We calculate this using after-tax net profit before deducting this donation.
We will complete each year’s donation and publish an update by June 30 of the following year.
If there is no net profit for a reporting period, no donation is due under the 1% pledge. We will still publish an update.
Our first reporting period runs from the announcement date shown above to December 31 of that year. After that, each reporting period runs from January 1 to December 31.
Giving Updates
We will publish completed donations here, including the date, amount, currency and recipient, along with an annual summary.
Questions about our giving
Is 1% of my order donated?
No. Our pledge is based on OURI’s annual net profits across all sales channels, rather than a percentage of each order.
Do I pay anything extra?
No. OURI funds the donation. No donation charge is added to your order.
Where can I see donation records?
Completed donations and annual summaries will be published on this page. Each annual summary will be available by June 30 of the following year.
